AVAILABLE BY RESERVATION The Fire Sprinkler Demonstration Trailer was donated by the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Fire Sprinkler Association and Fire Sprinkler Fitters Local 183 to the Wisconsin Fire Inspectors Association and is available for demonstrations by appointment. The 22' vehicle can be delivered and picked up from any Wisconsin location by members of Local 183 and Local 669. The educational unit is designed to demonstrate the effectiveness of automatic fire sprinklers. The trailer can be used for Legislative Educational or "Safety Days" demonstrations. Viewers can watch the power of automatic fire sprinkler protection and even be in the trailer for the demonstration. Attendees will witness a fire climbing a wall in the trailer with smoke activating a smoke alarm. What they see next is the extinguishment of the fire by a single fire sprinkler. UL President Tom Castino has stated "..the overall field performance record of sprinklers is excellent…Countless lives have been saved-more than any other single fire protection, prevention or suppression mechanism.
